On the back cover: This book presents an overview of my progress during the period when I attempted to equal Martin Kippenberger’s average annual printed output of 7.45 books. I committed myself to this so-called “Kippenberger Challenge” together with 13 other Belgian artists and designers. But with one book finished, I ended up nowhere near meeting the challenge as formulated. Because the emphasis on the completion of the printed matter, probably stemming from the premise of a linear workflow, created a false impression of my work, instead I want to “report” to you in a way more in accordance with my organic way of working. I have included all work, finished or not. This way I meet the challenge in my own way after all.
